Our exquisite Deep Sea Dark Roast is a single-origin specialty ground coffee made from 100% Arabica beans grown at altitudes of 3,700 to 5,400 feet on small farms in the mountains of Tarrazú, Costa Rica. These exceptional beans begin with only the ripest hand-picked coffee cherries that are processed using the "honey" method. After the outer skin is removed during milling, the flesh of the coffee cherry is left on the beans. The beans are then dried on outdoor patios in a slow and even way. The end result is beans that produce complex flavor profiles as well as enhanced sweetness. This truly exceptional coffee features heavy body and medium acidity. The rich flavor of this coffee cannot be overstated and it is sure to please even the most discriminating coffee aficionados.  Cupping score is a whopping 86.5
